Meet the Goza Family

Dennis, Kimberly and Zephyr Goza left their home in San Francisco in 1992 (when Zephyr was still in diapers) to perform professionally at schools and libraries across the United States as "The Act!vated Storytellers". They are notorious nomads - rarely staying in one place for more than two days. They relish exploring America, touring across the country year-round to ambitiously seek out new experiences that enrich their homeschool studies.

The Goza Family is living proof that the days of vaudeville live on!

Kimberly Goza (Mom)

Kimberly directs the shows, adding as much physical comedy as humanly possible. She trained as a dancer and serves as the company's primary "fall guy". The Portales News-Tribune says "Kimberly is quite active during the shows turning handstands and doing physical comedy that would put Jim Carrey to shame." She makes all the sets, costumes and props and does the driving, logging up to 600 miles a day. And she handles the bookings. You can also blame her for this Web site.

Zephyr Goza (son)

Zephyr began performing while he was still in diapers, doing TV and radio commercials, as well as Act!vated productions. He serves as the company's stand up comedian. He enjoys theme parks (especially Disney), putting on and going to Haunted Houses (the kind you do for Halloween), and is an avid reader. He also enjoys writing, and has written a triology strange little books detailing the adventures of odd little people in a weird little world. Learn more about them on his Crevice Tales web site. He also does lead vocals and guitar for his punk band A Simple Disaster.

Zephyr will be "retiring" (or is it graduating?) in May of 2008. He will be directing the 2008-09 A!S production.
