The Act!vated Storytellers of L'Eau Theque Productions have been bringing literature based productions to schools, libraries, museums, bookstores, and other places where children and their families gather, since 1988.
We don't just tell stories -
we act!vate them
Each show is a theatrical production, complete with sets (a giant, one of a kind, oversized book), costumes, imaginative props, music, dance, acrobatics, American Sign Language and audience participation.
The Act!vated Storytellers promote reading, folk tales, performing arts, and families learning and having fun together!
- Recommended for pre-K to Middle School and family Audiences (ages 2 to 102)
- Cast Size: Folktale Theatre Shows feature 2-3 professional performers and several of your students. Solo Teller Stories feature one performer.
- Running Time: approximately 45 minutes
- Performance Space: approximately 12'x12'. Sorry, NO outside performances.
- No Travel Fees Save on travel expenses when you book a show when we are touring in your area.
YES! We perform shows for school Family Nights.
Shows for assembly programs are designed to help schools meet and surpass curriculum standards in Fine Arts, English and World History. Background and study guide information is on the page for teachers.

Folktale Theatre Show:
Two professional performers, large book set, props and costumes. 45 minutes
- One Show: $545 (up to 250 people)
- Two Shows: $437.50 each (up to 500 people)
- Three Shows: $363.33 each (up to 750 people)
- Four Shows $298.75 each (over 750 people)
Subscribe to the Laugh and Learn Ledger and save $100 on one show and $150 on two.
Solo Teller Stories
One performer. No set, minimal costumes and props. 45 minutes. Laugh and Learn Ledger discount does not apply.
- One Show: $375 (up to 250 people)
- Two Shows: $325 each (up to 500 people)
- Three Shows: $275 each (up to 750 people)
BLOCK BOOKINGS: 10% off for groups booking on consecutive days.
SAVE $$ Community groups (IE two schools, a school and a library) are encouraged to schedule together to take advantage of block booking rates. Different stories can be presented at each. Slightly higher rates apply for shows not scheduled back-to-back or at different locations.

Artist-in-Residencies
Includes shows for the entire student body plus workshops to fill out the school day.

Workshops:
Workshops are 30-45 minutes long, for up to 30 participants.

Flying Rates
Flying Rates apply for performances at locations during times not on our scheduled itinerary. Two stories performed with a simplified set-up; two performers.
- $425* for one show
- $725* for two shows
- $895* for three shows
- $995* for four shows
*Venue is responsible for flight, ground transportation, lodging and meals.
- Slightly higher rates apply to venues restricting tape/CD sales at public shows (including Family Night programs at schools).

More Rate Information:
You may scheduled shows at different locations, and different groups may split the fees. Discounts for group block bookings. Up to four shows may be scheduled in one day at up to four different locations. Please check the tour schedule for other shows scheduled in your area.
Performances available after school hours for PTA groups, libraries, scouts, after school care, etc. or on the weekend.
Promotional materials are included for all shows open to the public. Study Guides are available for schools.
TRAVEL FEES WAIVED if you book when we are touring your area. Our rates are lower because
there is no middleman or booking agent to mark up your costs (or make matters confusing). You will deal directly with the Act!vated Storytellers performers when you call to
book or ask any questions.
Travel Fees apply for shows not booked during planned tour dates. Please check the drop box in the upper right corner of this

Travel fees include air and ground transportation, meals and lodging for 3 (2 beds).
